Fed up of hearing.....

"Ooooh you're going to have your work cut out for you" - I have a 3.2yo dd, 19mo dd and due with dc3 in less than 2 weeks. I'm not naive, or think I'm superwoman but I am FED UP of hearing this.

I raised my girls on my own for ten months and manage well with them still now dp is home. Of course there are challenging days but don't we all have them, even parents of 1?

When people see me, and also don't know me sometimes I kind I think they feel sorry for me. Close family members say how amazing I am for the way I raise the girls and cope etc. Which is nice. Just don't like the constant comments about three under three! (Kinda)

Anyone else find this when you had small children?

I've currently got a 2 year old (nearly 3) and an 11 month old. constantly I get, "ooh, you've got your hands full haven't you?"

They are a gorgeous, well behaved, easy going and charming toddler and sweet, smily baby. i think I've got it really easy actually.

I don't think they really think that, I think its just a verbal diarrhoea.

But I'd love to hear someone say, " oh, how lovely, two little ones. Aren't you lucky" for a change.

Definitely. People see how good they are. I think verbal diarrhoea is the perfect way to explain it Grin
