Hi all,

My DH and I are looking for nice things to do with our DD - day trips out and such the like. I'm not entirely sure where to take her and what to do and wondered if anyone had any tried and tested ideas or just ideas in general.

They will be gratefully received.

Many thanks!

Can you give a rough location?
At 4 months she is probably going to fall asleep to minute you move a pushchair.
If it wasn't so cold I'd suggest a national trust type place, lovely to sit and watch the trees etc.
Has she had all her vaccinations? If so you can take her swimming. Most major cities have free museums with child friendly exhibits. She will enjoy the colours, closeness of being held and people watching. Some towns have sensory rooms the public can access.

A library would be nice too.

I'd save child geared days out until she reaches about a year old :) at 4 months just do whatever you normally do and she will enjoy just looking at everything and falling asleep whenever she feels like it! :)

At 4m my ds generally slept.
When he was awake he enjoyed looking at trees, and generally just people watching. must be all the coffee and cake his mum ate but he enjoyed tea rooms too Wink
