Baby armpits

I am really struggling to clean my baby's armpits, and neck creases, as he wriggles so much. Any tips on methods? Sponge in the bath is not working well at all.

Well, tbh ds2's armpits are the cleanest bit of him most days Wink so I don't bother too much about specifically cleaning them.

Neck creases are another matter - he seems to keep a third of his lunch in there. Ds1 was very skinny so this is a new one to me and it's tricky. I think you just have to be quite firm and quick. Baby wipes might be better than a flannel as they're thinner if you're finding it difficult to get him to let you get in there. I find that tickling can help Grin

If he can hold his head properly put him over you lap with his head hanging off you can get into his neck and and do the same with someone holding his arms up for the armpits

I've taken to using a wet cotton wool ball when my lil girl is laying on her back either after bath time or during nappy change as I was struggling to clean creases in the bath and this mean you only have to adjust their position rather than good then safely and try to adjust position x
