How can I 'encourage' DS to poo during the day rather than at 4am as he's been doing for the last week or so?!

You can't unfortunately as far as I'm aware. Dd is a night time pooer too. Isn't it just lovely to sort a pooey nappy in the dead of night. Hmm

It's so frustrating! ! All the things you can do to help them to sleep through, but you can't influence their bowels Sad damn nature! lol

You might not be able to influence them but when DD was doing this regularly we started giving her prunes with breakfast for a week. Seemed to encourage her bowels to go just before bathtime as opposed to a few hours later. We then drew back the prunes (lest she become a pooping machine!!) and her poopage still stayed the same!

Ah this is good advice! He's only just moving onto stage 2 foods though so will see what's around at the supermarket. .

Give him a fruit pot for breakfast it should go through him before bedtime.
