CBeebies to CBBC

Hi,

My DD (5) seems to be outgrowing CBeebies, and Nick Jr (Although she still loves Wooley & Tig, Ben & Holly and Swashbuckle!!)

CBBC seems too 'old' for her just yet, but can anyone recommend any programs on CBBC for the younger audience?

Thanks.

Horrible histories and deadly 60 are both real favourites in our house.

Avoid Tracy Beaker at all costs!

My 4 year old switches between them both just now.

On CBBC he loves the cartoons - arthur, scooby doo, league of super evil, pet squad and shaun the sheep. He often asks for cbbc (as he knows its older) and I have found him watching stuff that I think he wont' get (teeny dramas/comedies) but he always claims he's enjoying it, but if I leave it a few minutes then suggest switching to something else he usually agrees!

deadly 60
wild
hero squad
all over the place

basicly the more documentary end of the CBBC programming , seemed to suit my 6 year old.

Now 7 he has just started to enjoy my life & blue peter as well.

DS started switching between them at about 4. Citv is a bit more of a mix and he likes some things on there - horrid henry which some parents hate, art attack which is great and almost naked animals which is bizarre but harmless. But also fleabag monkeyface which I despise - totally based on toilet humour.

I can't remember any titles from cbbc which are in favour currently.

Thanks everyone - think I might have a look at citv then too.
I'm finding CBBC seems to be more for boys - or maybe that's just me - having a girlie girl DD!!!

DD1, just turned 6, switched over from beebies last year. again, she still watches Woolly and Tig, Topsy and Tim, Swashbuckle etc but loves horrid Henry, Scooby Doo and Almost Naked animals. She can take or leave anything else.

CITV - Sooty is always a favourite. DS (2) loves, loves, loves Sooty!
CBBC - We don't watch any of that yet
Channel 5 (Milkshake) - Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, Little Princess, Wot Wots
CBeebies - Teletubbies, Katie Morag (DS calls her "Katin"), Topsy and Tim, Woolly and Tig, Tree Fu Tom, Swashbuckle and Get Squiggling.
