Is it socially acceptable to go out covered in? I feel like I need a change of clothes and a shower (with a massive cleavage scrub) to be allowed out in public. But I have to take DD1 to the dentist, and DD2 won't be put down. and I am fucking about on MN, not getting ready. It's just milk, she drink too much then spills it as my health visitor described it. I describe it more like Linda Blair in the exorcist, but with milk and cottage cheese.

And on a related note, if going out without the children when hell freezes over is the level of baby sick socially acceptable on your clothes lower. I'm OK to just dab with a baby wipe and hide behind a 6 week baby, aren't I?

Of course!!! ;-)
What I couldn't believe was the amount of stealth sick I never noticed but would be helpfully pointed out by whoever I was meeting up with!
Ps I thought it would never end but am so relieved now we are weaning that it has reduced dramatically although there are still the odd moments of cottage cheese!

Take a spare muslin as if you'd leave the house without one! to stick down your cleavage if you start to smell yourself in the waiting room. Hold your baby close and smile a bit manically at anyone who gives you a funny look - you're unlikely to meet anyone you know, right?!?

Enjoy it while it is just baby sick. Soon you will be covered in snot and unidentifiable toddler goo, especially all around your trousers/skirt at about knee height. Mothers of older children will actually find it a bit nostalgic ;)

If I didn't go out with baby sick on my clothes I'd never leave the house Grin

Same as mycat. Dd is a reflux baby who projectile vomits despite being on meds. Everyday I clean baby sick out of my hair with a baby wipe a good few times and I cannot keep up with the washing because we go through a good few outfits each a day. If its just a bit of sick, not a full projectile it gets wiped with a baby wipe.

my left shoulder is permanently covered in something, depending on which child I was most recently hugging/carrying - just hoik the baby up to cover it.

I think DS2 smells that I'm in clean clothes and throws up down my cleavage to scent mark me. As long as it's today's sick I don't even think about more than a babywipe.
