What can I expect starting a 15 month old in nursery?

Has anyone else started their child at this age -- what response can I expect from DD?

She would be going 5 mornings OR afternoons a week.

(on a side note how to people find nurseries who let them do less i.e. 2 mornings a week? None of our local ones let you).

TIA

Totally depends on your little one I think, it will be a big change for both of you I imagine, if LO is used to being with you. Might interfere with nap routine which can be hard.

I would say, having attempted and given up on settling my daughter into nursery at 11 months just prior to my return to work and now having just settled her (successfully hooray!) into a far nicer nursery at 2 years, I think it's essential that you really like the staff and trust them to respond to your little one in a way you are happy with and to communicate with you well. Good luck!
