Help with washing

I have a 3 month old exclusively bf baby and we are using reusable nappies - a mix of pockets (Charlie banana, fuzzibunz, bum genius) and little lambs bamboos. I dry pail and then I wash with half a dose of non bio powder on a 60 degree wash but I am noticing that often my pocket nappies are coming out with poo on them still. With the bumgenius and Charlie bananas (less so with the fuzzibunz) there is still evidence of poo all around the nappy and I don't think it's just staining. Even if I then re-wash the nappies it doesn't always come out and it seems wrong to put a nappy that still seems to have poo on back on my little boy. It almost seems like the type of fleece used in the bumgenius and Charlie banana is catching the poo! I don't use liners because I really don't like the disposable liners and I had understood that putting a fleece liner on a pocket nappy would affect absorption of wee (the 2 layers of fleece acting against each other in wicking the wee away)

Can anyone give me some advice? Is it likely to just be some staining or am I doing something wrong with caring for the nappies?

I was told by the nappy lady not to do fleece on fleece but I was told by my local nappy consultant that it is fine so fir the last week I've been using fleece liners in all my nappies (inc fuzzibunz and bumgenius) and i've had no issues at all!

When you say evidence of poo do you mean disvolouration or flaky bits?

If is discolouration it'll just be stains, if you're lucky enough to have some sunshine put them outside or on a window sill (make sure the staining is wet) and it should disappear :)

Just noticed you're wash routine.

If you do a cold rinse before washing it stops smells abs stains from setting.

I sometimes get stains on my reusables, but nothing major. I use paper liners, so don't know much about the potential issue with using fleece liners.
I always do a prewash (without detergent) before the main wash cycle. Any stains seem to get bleached out by the sun if I hang them on the line, although in this weather I tend to put them on an airer by a window.
