That's it really. We've started BLW but I have to hold the food, he guides my hand and dives on it with his mouth. If I put it in his hand he drops it. Same with dummy; I'll put it in his mouth at nap time (currently won't go down without it) and he'll pull it out, drop it and then cry for me to get it back in his mouth. If I out it in his hand he may play with it but never puts it back in his mouth himself. He doesn't really suck his toys either. Any tips or do I just need to be patient?

It feels baby led when he's gripping my wrist and pulling the food to his mouth that way. He's happily eating what goes in his mouth (a little a day). I'm pretty sure he's ready because of that.

Sit him on your lap when you're eating so that he can reach the plate - but just feed yourself Grin
