I have a question. What do you thing about organizing mom's return home (after giving birth) according to the scenario giving below (older daughter, Kate, is 10) ???

SCENARIO:
Kate was returning home from school, and she was so rushed that until out of breath. With all the strength rang the bell, my mom immediately guessed that it was none other than Kate goes. "Wait a minute!", Daddy's voice came through the door."Come on, Kate, come on", he called opening the door. "Come and say hi to mom." "Where?" Kate was surprised, because her mother did not come out into the hall.
However, after the moment she heard mom's voice from parents' room: "Peter, let Kate take off the coat and wash your hands before you come here."
Finally! Kate with all the momentum run into parents' room. She came and stood in the doorway in her tracks: Mom is back - this is true, but she is not bustling about, mom isn;t not sitting up with a book: she is lying! Lying in bed and pulls out a hand to Kate: "My Daughter!" "My Daughter!" repeated mom. "Come here to me and say hello to me.".

I love this! It reminds me of early Margaret Atwood.

I could see it as a film.

Imagining some sort of sledgehammer/gong combo at the front door too.....

DoItTooBabyJesus · 01/01/2014 19:56

I think the sentences need to be more organised than the moms return tbh.

QODRestYeMerryGentlemen · 01/01/2014 19:56

Backing slowly out of the door personally .....

HomeIsWhereTheHeartIs · 01/01/2014 19:58

Poor OP, her dream of writing a best selling novel now lies in pieces....

JodieGarberJacob · 01/01/2014 19:59

Let this be a lesson to all budding authors out there, do not attempt a novel a) when drunk or b) in another language.

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 01/01/2014 20:00

Its awful! Is this a hobby or a career change for you? (Hint- keep it as a hobby)

feetlikeahobbit · 01/01/2014 20:01

Very strange and slightly 1950s Confused

PacificDogwood · 01/01/2014 20:01

This must have been put through an online translation thingmy. I hope.
Otherwise I fear for Margarets's state of health...

Please- if you aren't sure about your writing skills, ask a writers group, not a general website. The replies tend to be short.

HyvaPaiva · 01/01/2014 20:06

What in the hell is that? Please don't write anything else.

greensnail · 01/01/2014 20:07

BoohPear · 01/01/2014 20:17

Why does Kate have to ring the bell to be let into her own house?!

CooCooCachoo · 01/01/2014 20:19

Erm........

Thurlow · 01/01/2014 20:43

elQuintoConyo · 01/01/2014 23:48

Please, is the next line: "she walked down the stairs like a centipede missing 98 legs" ?

I'd download the whole book onto my Kindle Grin

Repeatedlydoingthetwist · 01/01/2014 23:50

Another puzzled face here. More puzzled than Kate I'd wager.
