Should I put back into pyjama pants?

My ds is five (only a few days ago). He has been toilet trained since just after 2 and was dry in the night from the start. Every month or two he will wet the bed. I don't get cross but ask that he tells me and then clean up out of his sight.

This past few weeks he has been wetting a lot. Three days ago it was his bed. Last night it was mine and it's a massive patch and has gone through the mattress and the duvet is Saturated. I can't think of anywhere to get it cleaned today so we are without a duvet tonight and tomorrow.

What do I do? Should I put him in pyjama pants for a few weeks and see if he settles down?

Thanks

Get those mats to put under the sheet or invest in a waterproof cover.

Have you ruled out him being very overtired so not waking? Or a urine infection? Also I would lift him - gently wake him and stick him on the loo then back to bed (at around the time you go to sleep).

I wouldn't. We put our boy back in pj pants and then didn't get him dry again until he was 7.

Could it just be that his routine is out due to Xmas? Has he been drinking more or going to bed later? Fizzy pop?

I'd persevere and invest in some Pampers bed mats or similar. Good luck.

Has there been any change in his behaviour? Has he shown any signs of illness?
