Hi, my DD will be 9 soon and this year she isn't having a party for her school friends, as she finds those parties overwhelming. She'd never just want one or two friends either as she'd worry about missing people out. She has severe learning difficulties but is very popular at school.
I'm just wondering what kind of a party to give her? There will be mostly adults and a few young cousins.

Any ideas welcome. She is a very girly girl, loves music, dancing and being a drama queen.

How about a trip to the theatre instead of a party? It seems to have become a bit more of a thing among that age now as they are a bit older. A musical maybe if she is into music / dancing
