What products should I buy to soothe colic? I heard that infacol and gripe water are useful - any other suggestions?

Also, what nipple cream is best?

Lasinoh nipple cream as you don't have to wash it off before a feed. It's about ten pounds a tube but last ages. I was lucky to not have too much soreness early on but I have just restarted using the original tube as dd (14 mo) is teething which is making feeding uncomfortable.

We only (occasionally) used gripe water so can't advise on that one.

In preparation, do you mean you haven't given birth yet? Not all babies get colic so don't worry about planning for it. Likewise not everyone needs nipple cream (Lanisoh is the best one but with any luck you won't need to use any).

Unless you are in the middle of nowhere, I wouldn't bother with colic remedies or nipple cream. I've bf 2 and never bought a tube of nipple cream. Thought the first had colic but it turned out to be tongue tie.

A wrap. I was lucky in that ds never had colic but afriend found bunging baby into the wrap and swaying side to side standing whilst watching telly and stroking his back the only thing that stopped her ds from screaming from 6 until 9pm.
Colief gave him the most terrible squits
