Hi girls new to this but didn't know where else to turn :(, my 20 month old has gone from sleeping through from birth to the past two weeks of hell, waking all through tonight, refusing naps even though he is nodding his head falling asleep, to screaming his room down at bed time, inconsolable crying, paddying. He used to sleep so well loved his sleep but now nothing, he has his 16 teeth and no other problems I can tell, he is my second child . I am pulling my hair out because he won't let me do anything for him :( any advice or tips?

Thanks a lot xxxx

I don't know I'm afraid but hoping this will bump for you. the only thing I can think is that they can start to have nightmares about this age?

have you tried letting him sleep with you - just as a short term option - it might help diagnose why he isn't sleeping ie is it a physical or an emotional thing.

If he's been a great sleeper til v recently I'd guess something's hurting. Ear infection? Try some calpol/brufen and see if it helps.

I wonder if the lack of sleep if the feeding his tantrums so he's just getting worse and worse? Is there anything you can do yo catch up some sleep? A nice long drive in the car during the day oracle doe sleep on the sofa?

Hopefully once he's a bit more rested, sleep should be easier??
