Baby noisy when sleeping?

Maybe a bit strange but is anyone else's baby noisy when sleeping?

My little boy is nearly 4 weeks old and when I feed him during the night and then put him back in his basket he makes sort of grunting noises for a few mins before settling (he's not crying and his eyes are either completely or mostly shut)

He sometimes does it in his sleep too but when I look to see if he's awake for food he's asleep Confused

We now have a sleeping bag for him which made things a bit better last night.

Is it just him settling? He doesn't seem upset as I always pick him up if he is.

TIA

Newborns make so much noise when sleeping! It's normal.

Newborns are so noisy when they're asleep! It gets better the older they get though.

Sleeping in same room as mine was like sleeping in a farmyard with all the noise he made! Grin. He's better now, at age 5. Apart from when he sleeptalks

Seems it's normal then Smile

Can't believe how noisy he is though!

Sometimes I get him up to feed him and actually think he wasn't waking for food!

Sure I'll get to grips with it all soon x

I got up 2am to feed bc he was making noise. I turned on light, got out of bed sat next to Moses basket, got muslin, and ready to breast feed. I looked over and he was back to sound asleep! My first born made so much noise, we had to move her out of the room after two weeks! She slept just a few feet outside our bedroom door in th Moses basket, so I could easily hear if she cried, but could not hear her grunting noises! Those noises kept me up!

My 8 week old is such a noisy sleeper. Whimpers, growls and goat noises. Flinging his arms out to the side. Coughs and sneezes too, poor thing. Put him in bed with me the other morning, had to text his dad downstairs to come and get rid of him as I wanted a lie in and he was keeping me awake.
