DD (18 months) is too long for her 6-18 month GroBag now. I need to buy the bigger size but wondering what to get. 3.5 tog? The ones with detachable arms from JoJoMamen? Do they have them in TKMaxx at the mo? Anyone seen them?

Would love to hear what you are all using.

DS is 22 months. Has been in size 18-36 months since autumn. He's in 2.5 tog and wears just a long sleeved body (room temp usually around 18c). I get mine from Achica/Zulily or TK maxx (but Achica usually cheapest). I get the Gro or Purflo ones (Purflo have detachable sleeves but I only use these if either v cold or I've run out of long sleeved bodies.

We are using a 3.5 tog Grobag with a Grosuit on the cold nights.

Duvet weight merino bag. Fabulous.

DS1 is 18 months and I've just moved him into 18-26 month sleeping bags a few weeks ago. No particular make, just whichever ones are cheap on ebay!

I use 1 tog in the summer and 2.5 in winter and just adjust clothing to suit. Most nights he'll wear a normal babygro, if it's colder I'll pop him in a fleecy one and if it's really cold I'll stick a vest on underneath it (very rare).

Room temp is usually around 18c but can be between about 16.5c and 20c depending on whether the window's been open / heating one etc.

Perfect, thanks ladies, that's really helpful. Think I'll stick with 2.5 tog and adjust warmer with vest under PJs. Her room is around 17-18 so not too cold at the mo.
