persuading baby to sleep - any tips?

We have a 2 month old and he's got a will of steel. We're trying a few things, but anyone got any wise words? Anything appreciated x

There's a Sleep section on Mumsnet, has lots of other mums asking similar advice.

I remember when my 2 DC were babies I spent a lot of time looking at that section.

My personal opinion is that at 2 months old you can't expect much more than many night wakings and lots of wanting cuddles. In fact my DC2 woke up EVERY HOUR until she was a year old
