I got calfig or whatever it's called from the pharmacist on Thursday and she did a huge poo within half an hour

She pooed on Friday but not yesterday and she's struggling again today

Any ideas what foods I can give her to help try and get her back to normal? She has fruit but won't touch veg at the mo

Wholemeal bread helps, lots of water and juice, and lots of running around and baths. Lactulose is also good - ds who ate.v few foods at that age ended.up taking it daily for a year. Fruit tubes or smoothies also helpful as have fibre.

Dd recently got constipated with a cold, thanks to too much liquid and puree type food and not enough substance - been trying to get bread and veg into her.

Ds's chronic constipation went away as soon as he was potty-trained - much better position than sitting or standing in a nappy.

Dried apricots are good for getting things moving. My DD loves them. Also baked beans.
