..twins. Instructions didn't say anything about breastfeeding mums not to use it, but my Mum just said I shouldn't have. Am worried! Any words of wisdom to calm me down before next feed at 10pm (babies have never taken a bottle).

Pretty sure it would say on the instructions if there was any worry, they wouldn't risk it!

You will all be fine Smile

NHS info here

Full Marks hasn't been properly tested for use whilst bf-ing, but there have been no reported cases of any probe,s. but because of lack of data and possibility of transmission, it's not recommended.

No need to panic. But probably better not to do it again.

Thank you both, so kind to send reassurance and a link to research. I love MN, my dh (sitting on sofa next to me) just grunted when I raised my concerns, who needs dh when you have cyber support! Off to feed now (won't use FM again, if there is one).

have you found live lice in your hair? You arent supposed to treat unless lice have been found i,e, you dont treat just in case. DD has had lice before but ds never had them and neither did dh or I so only dd got treated.

p.s. Hedrin can be used when pregnant

WoodBurnerBabe · 04/12/2013 22:24

When I was pregnant, I used the cheapest conditioner I could get and smothered my head in it. Then wrap head in cling film (leaving nose hole obviously) overnight. It suffocates them and you have lovely silky hair in the morning which helps the nitcomb!

WoodBurnerBabe · 04/12/2013 22:26

Joking about the nose hole btw...

Wrap the bit with the hair.
