I need help. and coffee

My DD thinks 1am is playtime. Doesnt go to sleep 3/4 and we are up at 7.

Any help with a routine? Too young? My DD1 wasn't in a routine either. I don't know if the routine was rubbish or she just hated sleep!

Any tips or relaxing products to use will help me so much!

Do you keep baby up during the day and have nap times? Try looking up gina ford routines or baby whisperer to get an idea. But basically babies need a certain amount of awake time and nap time during the day. And prior to bed time, give them nice warm (almost hot...but obviously not too hot) so they can relax. Massage, bottle and bed. Do it every day prior to bed time. Right now my little one bed time is 8:30pm, but we wil l move it earlier to 7pm when he gets older...almost 6 weeks now. Usually newborns like to sleep later - hence the later bedtime. and of course he wakes up at night for feeds - but goes back to sleep. try not to play with ur little one when he wakes at night. keep lights off and feed him if he hungry or comfort to sleep if not hungry.

I have a 4 month old too. Sleeps great til 3/4 am and then is awake wriggling squealing etc etc
He has good naps in the day and I dont let him get overtired so im guessing its a phase as hes so alert and much more mobile.. hes trying to lift head up while on his back and is able to work his round in a circle on his back. Will be watching for any advice
Good luck!!

Yes she has naps. 1 at about 8:30am -9am..then maybe a power nap at 11ish...and 1 at about 1pm. She is asleep by about 5/6 then it all goes abit wrong...she sometimes wakes up at about 8/9/11/12 then awake at 1.

She does have a cold atm so im not sure if thats effecting the lack of sleep.

I'm going to start her bedtime routine tonight.

She might need more sleep in the day.

My ds has an hour at 8/9 then 2 hours at 11/12 then a catnap at 5ish for 40 mins or so
