Sharing a bedroom

I have two boys who are 2.5 years and 10 months old (19 months between them). I would like to have them sharing a bedroom for a period of their childhood and I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences and offer advice on when would be the best age to put them together and can I kiss sleep goodbye if I do:-). Both boys are on a similar schedule, both are early to bed early to rise children and as DS2 gets older are growing closer and closer. Both wake up once a night on average but each requires a quick kiss and tuck in and they go back to sleep. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe not that much help to you but I shared a bedroom with my sister from when we were 2 & 8 right the way up to when I left home at 18 to go to university.

before that, I shared with my brother from age 6 to 8.

My 2 ds's share a room and they are nearly 7 and just turned 3, they have technically shared since ds2 was 6 mi ths but he used to come into ours a lot. They are fine at bed time and both lay down no problem to go to sleep, dd in her own too. On the other hand always wants to sleep with the boys!
