bugaboo cam owners over here please

I can't for the life of me remember. At what age can they move from the flat carrycot to the buggy style (not upright). Dd has always hated being flat in the pram but doesn't mind it when she is in the car seat attached. She's just turned 5 months - would it be ok to switch the base over now or is there something we're supposed to wait for. Have done this twice already but I really can't remember!

I will watch with interest as we are about make the switch too for my DS also 5 months.
It suddenly occurred to me the other day that we are using the carrycot as storage and he would probably be much warmer and more comfortable in the buggy bit than the car seat.
Pretty sure there's no reason not to!
DC2 here so also done it before.

We moved DS at 5 months. Obviously depends on individual child and head control etc, but go for it says I!

That's it! We use the carrycot in the car only to store crap stuff. Her head control is getting better, and I would have her reclined anyway.Just worried she may be too small to sit in comfortably (just got to 12lb). Suppose there's only one way to find out...

We moved dd over at 18wks as she hated the pram (we just couldn't use if so had to put her in a sling if out).

She does have very good head control, 98% for height and 75% for weight.

The first position in the seat is almost flat anyway. She will now happily spend time in the pram whilst shopping or at cafe/restaurant.

We swapped at 3 months.. I know we were not meant to but my lo just screamed in it when she was lying flat.

She's still not a big buggy lover. She would much rather be in the sling, our current one of choice is the rose and rebellion. I'm still waiting for her to like the bugaboo (she's nearly 8 months now!)

5 months should be fine to swap

10 weeks here! He was a big, very long baby though and absolutely hated the carry cot

We switched at about 3.5 months.

He hated the carrycot & we only used it about 5 times.

If you get the foot muff, combined with a blanket, they're lovely & warm.
