Just after abit of feedback. My friend is handing in her notice at her hair salon and going it alone in jan. We were discussing ways to drum up business . I offered she could appeal to new mothers who do coffee mornings with other new mothers or mothers with new borns. do a group discount of 4/5 mums who all get a hair cut/ restyle . They can enjoy their normal coffee morning with friends but also get abit pampering and much needed boost without having to worry about their baby needing a nappy change or a cuddle because their are others in hand to help out.

It wouldn't be for me, sorry.

However if she was mobile and come to my house then ideal.

Our local softplay has a hairdressers in it so parents/kids can get their hair done after playing.

That would be bloody awesome, but possibly not feasible. You would all need a trim or restyle at exactly the same time. I would rather a skilled hairdresser went mobile and did evenings. But then I don't have masses of girlfriends with high maintenance hair dos, probably other women do.

I'd be up for it but most of my friends have a hairdresser they like. I'm not fussy and change all the time.

My hair fell out in giant clumps between 3 and six months. The first time it was a shock and I probably would have felt bad about wasting a haircut on it. The second time I was prepared and waited to get it cut.

Also after having my first child my hormones and sleep deprivation led me to choose a very unsuitable haircut shortly afterwards. :o

But I'm sure some people would like it, it's just not for me.
