3 month old in Moses - running out of space but sleeping so well

3 month old is between 75th and 91st centile for length and weight and width wise has run out of space in Moses but length wise still has some room.

He sleeps 7.30-7am with one feed and back down again so I am very worried about disturbing his sleep by moving him to a cot.

Should I do it now or wait a few more weeks?

I've just moved my 14 week old into the cot last night. She slept exactly the same as she has the previous 4 nights. Doesn't mean yours will do the same though!

Just moved DD2 last week at 24 weeks. Kept putting it off. We had a weekend away and she slept nicely in a travel cot and in cot since we got back.
Dd1 on the other hand was out of hers at 6 weeks as she did not enjoy being confined!!

DS2 was also out of the mb at 6weeks! To help the transition, a tip I picked up when he was in hospital was a sort of baffle inside the cot - a rolled up bath towel inside a pillow case to make a U shape. Then lay the baby so his head is inside the "arch".

Maybe put the moses basket inside the cot for a couple of nights?

We moved ours at 2 month's for the same reason, it made no difference to his sleep.
