If so, can anyone tell me what they call it? Something like J'epie avec mon petit oeil?
Sorry if that's a poor translation, by the way.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No, I think it is a typically english game.
I have never play that in france as a child and I don't think my niece does either.

Sorry, the translation is not poor but sound silly in french. You would have to find something else than direct translation, i.e.
"J'aperçois quelque chose començant par la lettre..."

We used to play exactly that with my french godmother, but I think she just translated the English version into french to amuse us.

No.

No. When I lived here, kids did do a few spot x games but not as an actual, arranged, structured game like I-Spy, just a made up, random type one.

My DD has tried to play this with French kids. She said "je vois avec mon petit oeuil..." Sadly, they looked blankly at her so that was that!

Sorry, oeil not oeuil!!
