Excuse to take child out of school

I need to take my reception child out of school on Friday afternoon to go and have a sneaky trial half day at the school round the corner as I am beginning to feel she is in the wrong school. What do I say? She is only 4 so if I say she has a doctors/dentist appt etc and the teacher asks about it on Monday she will say she didn't go. I am not going to ask dd to lie about it, I am going to just hope she doesn't tell the teacher but what reason can I give for collecting her early which will be accepted?!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Just say she has an appointment. You don't need to specify who with.
