I really don't understand your post... Confused

SPsWouldCatFishNev · 25/11/2013 00:25

A woman was kicked out of the library as her child was carrying on. OPs child was ripping books and no one cared. Library person must be racist

That's what I got

AngelsLieToKeepControl · 25/11/2013 00:26

Why were you letting your dd rip books? Confused

I don't think there is enough in your post to suggest racism, a child was screaming in a library, he asked them to leave, sounds about right to me.

peanutMD · 25/11/2013 00:34

There is always noise in our local library children's area but if it was screaming over a prolonged period then fair enough, i would've left before i was asked.

You should also have been asked to leave and/or pay to replace the books as you were willingly allowing your child to destroy library property.

I doubt he is racist, I'm not sure how often you visit the library but my gueas is that he is there dealing with screaming children from all sorts of races/cultures/backgrounds when you are not there.

So you're saying that your child has behaved far worse but you are white and you've not been asked to leave while other families who are black have been?

AngelsLieToKeepControl · 25/11/2013 10:05

How many times does he ask people to leave? I go to my library twice a week and I think I have only seen one person being asked to leave before, I wouldn't have thought it was a common occourance really.

EdithWeston · 25/11/2013 10:22

I got that those who are causing a noisy disturbance are asked to leave, and that those who cause damage are asked to pay for it.

There seem to be other incidents too, but OP hasn't described them.
