Don't know, Socci, but if I mention potty to DS1 he says Nooooooooooooooo! so I'm not bothering. He'll do it when he's ready.

My DS is the same as HMs, so its nappies for the forseeable future. Could you try reframing the question, maybe "would you like to use the potty or the toilet?" making "no" a less likely answer?
