Mine wear helmets on bikes and I try to get them to wear them on scooters now they're five and seven and trying little jumps etc. My boyfriend has worked in the bike industry for 20 years and is a helmet supporter. Every time I see pictures of him and his mates they have helmets.

I came off a bike when I was nine or so, had borrowed my sisters bike. Went over the handlebars. Unbeknown to her id borrowed her helmet too. And glad I did, without it the wall and handlebars would have met my head hard and not the helmet.

The boys dad isn't so strict. I send helmets there every weekend and drill into them no helmet no scooter or bike. Thankfully they rather idolise boyfriend and so listen to him.

Having seen the damage done to a friends helmet and not head ds is definitely wearing one
Why wouldn't you?
