how long does it take you to do the school run my daughter is in nursery at 8.30 we lived oppisite the nursery so left at 8.28 now we have moved its a 40 min bus ride my daughters such a lazy bum though shes struggling getting up early :s hoping to get her used to it before this baby is born in january

About 15 min walk. We live close to the school.

If you're now a 40 minute bus ride away are you not in a different catchment area?

10-15 mins walk depending on whether youngest is on a go slow.

Depends. DD1 attends a school 5 miles away. The journey can take 15 minutes or 35 depending on traffic. DD hates being late so I always allow 35 minutes. We leave at 8.20 every morning.
