Fuzzi Bunz not working any more!!

Hi!
I'm new here but have friends who live here so thought I'd check it out!!!
Can anyone help!!!??? I use fuzzi bunz stuffables with folded prefolds with my 21 month old and they have always been fine but he seems to poo at least 3 times a day and has regular leakages plus in the hot weather it may be all he's wearing so they come off (with help of course!!!!) far too easily!!!
He's quite a petite boy and I really want to continue with washable nappies.. does anyone have any advice please?

What size FBs? Whereabouts do they leak?

They are Size Large and leak at the inside leg.. sometimes the bottom poppers pop off too... maybe I put him into Large too soon? Trouble is sold my meds apart from 2.. will see if they leak tomorrow!!

No advice with fuzzis, but can advise with oodles of other types if you are wanting to change rather than fix iyswim.

I'd be inclined to see if you get more luck with the mediums. If the mediums don't leak at the legs but are getting a bit small generally, then maybe Petite Toddler would work better than Large (the thigh openings are smaller on Petite Toddler)? Not sure though as DS (18 months) is non-petite and wears a mixture of Mediums and Larges with no problems.

Does he take them off just by pushing them down, or does he undo the poppers? I need to make sure I've done up the waist pretty tightly (tighter than I might otherwise do) or DS pushes his down to half-mast (if he doesn't have anything on over the top).

DS does stick his hands absent-mindedly down the back, which I don't have any answers for as yet (and is a bit hazardous when poo may be in the offing). I guess the hot weather can't last forever...

i had this with mine too, and know a few other people who have as well.
i don't know if they just become less waterproof or something.

how are the poppers coming undone? are they done up too tightly or is he undoing them?

I would say it's either:
the large is too big and leaving gaps round the leg
or it's too tight and the compression is not allowing the wee to soak in properly, especially if you are stuffing with a prefold

I solvedthe prob by buying some mediums with inserts do they fit him neatly and the leakages have gone.. also boufght some magic-alls!! WONDERFUL!!!
