Brining sick child to play

We had a get together with a few friends and children yesterday. One of my friends called an hour before to say that she wouldn't come as her daughter had very high temp. Then arrived a little while later saying she seemed ok. Obviously still unwell with glassy looking eyes but dosed up on calpol. Feeling rather cheesed off as our little one gets really ill with temps so will probably now be poorly too. Am I over reacting?

I wouldn't have minded ill child there at all. If it's going around mine will get it anyway.

I only draw line at vomiting bugs & things like Ebola virus.

Not fair, not fair on the ill child who would better snuggled on the sofa at home with a cuddle.
