DS is 5 weeks, bottlefed on cow & gate (for hungry babies) and his dirty nappies have been really runny. we give him infacol before every feed. anything i can or am supposed to do apart from give him cooled boiled water? plus, what are the best nappies (if any) for this sort of poo?! tesco's own aren't keeping it all in!

pampers new baby are supposed to be designed to absorb soft poo as well as pee. I used these and the huggies newborn nappies when dd was a baby. When you say runny, do you mean watery like diarrhoea or do you just mean very soft korma like consistency? (sorry that sounds a bit gross!!). If its the latter you dont need to do anything as that is what baby poo is like sometimes. If it is watery see your doctor as it could be a tummy bug.

it's watery. DS is in size 3 already as he's nearly 13lbs. do they do new baby pampers in size 3?

I would take him to the docs - that doesn't sound right.

re nappies - it should be temporary, so why not buy a couple of rubber pants from mothercare (the type you use with terry nappies) to go over his normal nappies?
