DS is a lovely boy, bright but with memory problems that have led to a diagnosis of dyslexia. In the last year he's been getting very frustrated which can turn to anger over different things and I'd love to know how to help him and how best to deal with him. Today I checked his homework to find that he'd missed a large part of it as he hadn't read his homework diary properly (not the first time) so he was fed up that with an hour to go until bedtime he had to do a large piece of homework. However there was lots of mistakes so I asked him to do the corrections ie. misspelt words that were on the sheet. He got more and more frustrated and I could hear him angry in his room although not with me.
I think anyone would have been fed up, but his response seems disproportionate so I'm worried about him and how this could pan out as he gets older. He's the youngest and neither of my older two were like this, so I'm a bit lost to know if he's just being a bit spoilt or a normal ten year old or a child with a problem.
