I have had a cold for about a week and seem to have passed it onto my handsome 11 week old who now has a blocked nose and red eyes. Hes sleeping and feeding ok at the moment.
I have tried saline nasal spray but it doesn't seem to make a difference and vicks etc can't be used until 6mths old. Any tips on unblocking his little button nose?

What about the snot sucker thing? Dd had a vile cold at this point, steamy shower room or one of those Vicks humidifiers that blows steam out? They have them in boots, karvol plug ins good too

If he's feeding and sleeping ok then I wouldn't worry about a blocked nose.

I use the drops rather than the spray. I think they're supposed to be better.

Second the Vicks humidifier - 9 mo DD has a constant snotty nose and low grade cough almost constantly and this is the only thing that helps her sleep through, it has saved my sanity this winter and it is only November! Put Olbas oil in it, amazing.

Humidifier is really an essential. I hardly used the cot, but couldn't manage without the humidifier.

You can buy something called 'snufflebabe' from the chemist which is like Vicks but suitable for you her babies (although they may still need to be over 3months - it's worth checking)

I find the suction sucker thing brilliant - same issue with my 11 week old DD. Also I use a couple of drops of olbas oil or similar on a tissue in the room, or at the top of the cot - works like a charm.
