How much should I pay?

Hi I'm going to have a friends daughter who is 13 to 'babysit'. It will be for 2 hours, once or twice a week, to enable me to do some cleaning/ ironing (I will always be home) basically she will entertain my youngest who is 7 months. I also have a 2.5 year old but he would just play around me most of the time. How much should I pay? I was thinking £3 a hour as minimum wage does not apply to school age children and I am there to supervise is this ok?

After school care is £4/hour per child so I would go with £4 so you don't seem tight, that way you are saving money and she's getting a fair deal

i would say £3 sounds fair if you throw in some juice and crisps.

I think giving her £6 is a bit tight. How about giving her £8 or £10?

£6 sounds more then fair. It's only a little pocket money
