Toddler chapped lips

My dd has got chapped little lips from where she's been sucking her thumb. It's all red and sore under her bottom lip on her chin. Is there anything in particular I could use on her lips to help or anything I should avoid? She's always been a thumb sucker so this is a bit random!

I would pop a bit of Vaseline on or other lip-salve type thing but not a scented one. I've just been using my Vaseline mini ton thing on DS's dry lips

My dc's always suffered with this in the winter.
They would always just lick off and salve that I put on, so I would put some on about an hour after they went to bed, and some more when I went to bed.
Worked really well Smile

Thank you :) I'll get some Vaseline tomorrow and put it on when she's asleep. I can definitely picture her licking it off otherwise Grin
