Can anyone help with a nearly 2 year old escaping from car seat straps. Rospa and Britax helpfully suggested he will grown out of it.

They wouldn't suggest additional straps even when I described my M4 journey with child screaming until arms are free.

No experienece of this myself, but I've seen something called a houdini strap suggested on threads before. Do you think it's worth a try? www.houdinistopuk.com/
Also, are the straps the right height ie close to shoulder height? we didn't realise dd's were on far too low a setting when we first put her into current seat and they would slip off her shoulders, can imagine a determined two year old making short work of those!
