that before you have kids, a baby's wail can leave you completely unmoved, yet once you have your own it fair pierces your heart like a stiletto knife?

I'm a practice manager, we have baby clinic this afternoon. I'm so on edge listening to all the tiny wails. And I do not subscribe to the view that you're not complete until you have kids....but I confess before DD arrived this just didn't affect me like it does now Confused

I don't know, but I've experienced the same thing. It's like a switch has been turned on and never goes off isn't it!

I turn into a blubbering wreck nowadays if there is an even remotely sad story about a young child.
