How many naps for 1 year old?

My DD (1) went from 2 naps to 1 or none a couple of months ago. She's just recently gone back to 2 naps: the first at 9-10.30 and the second at 1.30-3.

Is that ok? Is it weird that she's returned to two naps?

Not weird especially if she is more mobile, she will spending a lot more energy during the day I'd say that's normal. Lucky you...

I believe the "textbook" says 2 naps until about 18 months and then 1 nap

Thats the average. DS dropped to one nap at 16.5 months, but it was his choice.

mine is still having two apart from the odd day she refuses the morning (like twice a month). She goes from 9-10 (when I wake her as I have things to do in the mornings, I think she'd go on until 10.30!) and 1.30-3. She then goes to bed at 6.30 - sleepy baby!

DD had two a day until she was nearly 2, DS dropped his second one around 15 months - they're all different.

Mine has one - but it moves around a fair bit.

my one year old is just dropping her morning nap. at the moment she has just one nap at 12.30/12.45 if she wakes in the morning after about 6.45, or two naps (9.30 and 1.30 ish) if she wakes earlier than that (which is annoyingly often). But then she's never been a big sleeper
