HALP is this a growth spurt or what? ds is pretty much eating constantly, is combination fed with bottles. he is also very unsettled, a week ago he'd wake up every 3 and a half to 4 hours during the night which was fantastic, now he's screaming as soon as you put him down. this is incredibly draining on me and oh and we don't know what to do or why he's crying Sad

Stop the Infacol, it makes reflux worse.

A better over-the-counter remedy would be Carobel, which thickens the feed so it doesn't come back up as quickly. It should make a fairly immediate difference if he does have reflux.

we've managed to get a doctor's appointment for 1640 and I'm going to mention all these things. I just want to enjoy my baby Sad

just got back from the pharmacy, he's been prescribed colief. the doctor had a good poke and a prod of his tummy and had a listen and thinks it's wind. reeeeally hope this works as we all need some sleep.

Big round of applause to my mum for saving the day with cream cakes and tea, and for letting me and OH get a nap. Indy seems a lot more settled now he's had a couple of doses of colief, and he's been passing lots of little trumps so here's hoping he sleeps a bit tonight. fingers crossed

There were cakes!?!?

My DD was the same. Turns out she had silent reflux AND likely dairy intolerance. If your LO also has explosive and frequent nappies, with a bit of mucus. Wind. And seems to be uncomfortable pulling legs up it may be something similar. Please just get him checked out, and keep pushing your gp for help too. Good luck x
