Introvert SAHM - how do you manage?

I am an introvert. I can talk to people and enjoy it but I also need time on my own to recharge.

Between half term, and dd and ds being sick in turns I haven't had any time to myself in weeks! I'm tired as dd isn't sleeping properly (whole other thread practically), I'm grumpy, hormonal (af was 13 days late!) and on the verge of yelling at the dc to leave me alone! Blush :(

SAHM please tell me how you balance the need to be alone with being with your dc constantly? Confused

I try and schedule time when I know I can be alone during the day, even if it is just for 10 minutes. Knowing that, bar disaster, I am going to get it makes it OK. dcs know that if mummy says 'I am going to sit in here by myself for 15 minutes and drink my coffee' then they better not disturb me for 15 minutes. I'm alone most nights though, so that helps.
