Help! Need a toy gift for 3.5 - 4 year old boy! What do your boys like?

Hi ladies!

I really need a good gift for a 3.5 - 4 yo boy for around the £15 mark. Preferably something I can get at amazon as I'd like to order it today. I'm a bit stuck!

The only thing I found was this dinosaur stamp set and sticker books here and here.

I know he has recently got into activity books that's all.

Any other thoughts?

I recently bought a 'paint your own dinosaur' kit for a 4year old, it wasn't from amazon but I expect they have a similar thing

My son loves books where he can practice writing. I got some in Mothercare, am sure Amazon does them too.

Also, anything crafty is good too.... maybe not for his mum (or whoever will be tidying up afterwards) but he'll love it!

Lego City - awesome for small boys. My ds1 is 4.10yo and has been into Lego City for about a year. He loves anything fire-related, so has the fire engine and fire motorbike and helicopter. These will keep him occupied for ages - he spent half the morning playing happily with them today!

Agree lego city a huge hit here too with my ds (3.2). He also loves playmobil too.

I think I've got Eletheomel's slightly older sibling - 4.5 here, and lego and pirates.
Jigsaws are very popular with both mine.

We have the Melissa and Doug stamp set you linked to OP, is brilliant quality. Also have similar to this which the DC also love.

Mine has recently shown interest in having the following things for Christmas:

A kite.
A game of Snakes'n' Ladders.
A torch.

(hope he blooming well plays with them when he gets them!)
