Teenagers and their own web pages

Does anyone have any guidance on whether or not they would allow their teenager to have a web page? I'm talking about the sites like Piczo (I think that's how it's spelt) which lets them create a page and upload pictures etc. DD1 is aware of the rules - no full names, school details, location etc - but I'm still not sure about this. Am I just being paranoid, or if she sticks to those rules and I check it from time to time, do I allow her to as all her friends do and they like to look at each other's sites.

Thanks ZZ - I checked out the BBC story - I can't believe (well, sadly I can) what these girls are willing to do. I've put my foot down and said no to a Webcam - at least with the camera not being attached to the PC she needs to ask for it and I make sure that I upload the pics so I know what's going on. (Eg I made her delete a pic of her in her school shirt as the colour is v distinctive and I don't know how many schools in the country would use that colour shirt)

If you make her follow the rules then it's probably ok, but be careful her friends don't list their school, in case someone then links her in to that. One of my DS2's mates gave his full name, photo, piccy of school, and it's name !!!, and my DS's site was linked to it under my friends. cue quick deletion of DS's pages.
