Recently started going to playschool in the mornings. Around 11.45 they break for lunch. I have been pcking up sandwiches (about 4 fingers),some fruit or yogurt, cheese cubes and a drink.

When I collected him yesterday I was told that he got very big lunches!? Am I overdoing it? What do you give to your little ones and how much of it? Do you eat it?

Although she doesn't go to playschool, I usually give DD a sandwich (2 slices of bread) some fruit & a yoghurt & a drink.

She will have crisps instead of fruit as a treat some days.

I would have thought that as long as he eats it, what the problem? Give him what he would normally have at home.

suppose it depends how long they have for break and if they expect him to go home for his lunch?

reece my dd goes 9.30 - 12.30 and has a snack at 11, of some crackers/cheese/fruit/rice cakes/water
its basic but i found it wasnt been eaten and she then has a better lunch at 1 or so.
but your ds's lunchtime is later.

One of the girls said not to bother putting yogurt in anymore as he doesn't eat them. I must ask her about this as he always eats them at home and when I opened his box when we got home his yogurt was empty! Is someone else eating them???!!

He hadn't touched his lunch at all today. He is getting so tired that he has no appetite.

Maybe I will try cheese and crackers with small bit of fruit tomorrow. He's not really a fruit eater but hey I'll give it a go.
