This is just a curious questions

Im just wondering on averadge how many packs of babg wipes do you go through in a week. I have a ds whos 22months and a dd whos 8 months I get 3 packs of baby wipes on thursday and by the wedensday there gone. Is that alot of wipes for 1 week or what .

That seems like loads to me - I buy a box with 6 packs of wipes in and it lasts us between 6 weeks - 2 months! There's no way I'd want to spend that much on wipes, but I only use them for nappy changes, and sticky fingers/face if I'm not somewhere that I can wash them at a sink! What do you use them for to get through so many?

The same thing as you do washing face hands and bums. I though it felt like I used loads. What brand do you use

Do you have a toddler who eats them?

One of my boys was awful with wipes, if he found a pack they were gone he would pull them all out to suck on and then wash the tv / walls / toys with them

I had 3dc ages 6 months 4&5 we go through 2 or 4 packs per week

Im starting to think that.. its unreal how many I use one minute theres a pack full next there gone. I think ill haveto start bulk buying :)

Asda currently have 12 packs of little angels wipes for £8

We get through a pack a day! We use huggies because the asda ones are much thinner and, for us, a false economy. The dc also have a reaction to most other brands of wipes. We have a pack in the kitchen, one in the bedtime box and a pack in both change bags. We do use them for everything though. I buy them for £1 a pack from hone bargains.

I hate how paper like they are and how they just rip

I prefer - pampers or tesco but if asdas are on offer I will get them

Not sure how often I get through a pack but they don't last long in our house either! I use them for nappy changes, kids' faces, sticky hands, wiping the high chair, getting marks off walls / furniture / the floor / my clothes etc etc. Baby wipes are excellent for removing marks that other cleaning products don't touch or mark the paintwork!

I only have one DD but we can make 3 or 4 packs last a month. However we have antibac spray for the high chair which saves a few.

I have only just found the Aldi wipes (always use their nappies though), which I found very good. Also bought some Boots ones in a rush last week (3 for 2 so not too expensive) - they're brilliant, in that when you pull one out of the pack, it really is just one that comes. I HATE how with most of them you end up using about 4 times more than you need just because they came out in a clump.

I'm amazed how much some parents use them. When at home, my dc had a flannel in the kitchen for all wipe ups (of them) and obviously the kitchen cloth for any wipe ups of tables, floor etc.
Wipes were only used for nappy changes, and if we were out somewhere.

My 8 month old has very sensetive skin so I ise the white palmpers one get them for a pound a pack at asda. Older son can use any but I stick to the same with them.. I dont like huggies as I think they constantly and a face cloth sounds great idea.. I have doffrent wipes for floors and furniture ect.

Wow, I can't believe people use so many! My dc are 7 and 5 now so rarely use them, but when they were little I'd wash them with water at home, cloth to wipe their faces, surfaces etc.

They're filled with chemicals and i'm sure not very environmentally friendly (or cost effective!)
