We have just been notified that because of our WFTC credit going up £20 a week, we have lost out on £60 a week childcare. . The answer we are getting is that he now qualifies for 3 hours free a day, which he does but my classes happen to be in the AM next year, and we're only been offered a PM place which cannot now be changed. I can't get a job, as Social Services ahve said DS1 (who got his ASD diagnosis this Monday, as if I wasn't mixed up enough by that) isn't 'sfe' enough around other kids to go to childcare, and Dh works nights.

It loks like I might have to drop out, and I got an A in my exams

Anyone know anyone I can approach? These figures just don't add up for us, there's no way we can make it work- last year they took DH's commuting costs into account, this year they won't- it is at their discretion, apparently, new boss in department. That's £3K alone.
