Reusable nappy for toddler

Hi all,

My DS (2.5 yrs old), has grown out of his motherease onesize. The nappies leak after one (big) wee, despite being boosted. He is not ready for potty training yet; so I need to find some new nappies for him in the meantime.

Am considering Sandys XL and Tots bots size 3 applix. What would people recomend?

In terms of his build, DS has a big belly, and a small bottom - so not sure which one would fit him best.

Also, does anyine know which has most capacity?

Thanks
Jenny

XL Sandy's are fab, they are called Toddle-ease. Or you can get Poplini two size in XL which are really the same. There's an offer at NaturalNursery on them, their organic ones are reduced to £5.99 each, bargain.
My DS is a heavy wetter so I do boost them with a Motherease booster and they work well.
They are also good because they can pull up and down so will be handy for potty training also.

Just sold our size 3 totsbots on ebay - sick of chasing ds around his room getting him to keep still while I held the front bit with one hand, the side bits with hands two & three, fumbled for a nippa with hand four!

Love totsbots for little babies who keep still darnit!

Just bought 3 Happy Heiny training pants from cumfybumfy shop .

They are brilliant - we stuff with cut up old towels.

He also has a few nappies in XL from bearbehinds , which are also good (& ridiculously cute!) but suffering from velcro fatigue - would get popper style next time.

wam-bamboo Amazing things!!! Very very slim, fit the 3 week old I tried, my 18 week old, and my 3 year old with a HUGE bum through the night.

Very very long waist tabs, so good for his belly, nippa or aaplix, so easily adjustable for the little bottom, just yank it up higher etc.

I love em

Oooh... you can get them in blue too

how about harmony hemp or wee notions (can be microfibre, sherpa, velour, hemp...), I've got a couple of these and both have a very high rise (43cm I think) and wee notions will make them with an even higher rise if necessary. They both have pockets so that you can stuff more in if needed and are popper fastened

We used Toddlerease when DS was this age and they were fine.

You need XL wraps with them.

I've changed to the tots bots bamboozle as my dd has also grown out of the motherease one size. And must say the tots bot is super absorbant.
