I started one in 2002, and did a term and dropped out, for horrendous personal reasons. That's not for here, however.

What I am wondering is, I got funding last time (ie the 6 grand, tuition fees paid and student loan) Am I likely to get funding again? Or will I have to break my back trying to earn enough to do it? I'm thinking of possibly applying for next Sept.

I doubt you'll get funding again, but they are short of teachers so you never know.

arse. I thought that might be the case. Maybe I could get in by offering the tutors sexual favours or something

What subject is it in - if it is a subject they are short of, like maths for istance, you might get funding again.

Just mildly curious - did you have to pay any of it back?

instance - sorry

No, I was never asked to pay it back.

Was hoping to do primary PGCE, or possibly middle years Music

It might be worth a try to see if you would get funding.

intergalacticwalrus · 05/07/2006 13:04

Do you know who I could contact to ask?

I don't know would the college or who ever is running it be able to tell you.

I'm sure you would find it difficult to get funding but it's worth at try. You need to apply through your council who actually send out all the forms, but the first of all, if you type 'student finance direct' into google, it will come up with the website with all the information.
