Sleepyhead baby pod - worth the money?

Hi all,

Just after some MN advice, has any one got / used the Sleepyhead baby pod? Is it as good as the reviews out there?

At £90 it is an expensive piece of lot, but for the first 6 months of baby's life I'm going to be struggling for space so this seems like a good idea as I won't have space for both a Moses basket & cot.

Thoughts & views appreciated please :)

I have one- it took two weeks to find as we were (still are!) very sleep deprived and our daughter would not sleep in her crib. It is fabulous - she only wakes a few times during the night and it makes a great travel cot.

Hmmm, I think I'm more swayed to getting one than not, just nice to hear "real" reviews.

I'd be tempted to spend an extra £30 and get the Cocoonababy which looks like it is a bit more sophisticated and would also help if your baby has reflux or colic/wind - whereas the sleepyhead looks more like you could achieve the same effect with rolled up towels under a fitted sheet... I haven't tried either but wish I'd had the cocoonababy for dd who was premature and would only sleep on my chest!

both are sold by john lewis, don't know if they have them on display in store but you could always buy and return if not.
